Shiro is a happy, cheerful teen who acts more like a five-year-old. She loves being with her friend Ganta, and takes care of him no matter what. Ganta was her childhood friend; the details behind why they were living together have yet to be revealed since the story is told from Ganta's point of view mostly but, she's consistently shows her loyalty to Ganta. Even when they fought while they were young, something would happen to bring them back together again. She would do anything for the other, even if it means getting hurt herself. When 'normal' Shiro is still incredibly strong. She can easily overpower someone in a one-on-one fight. She was rather surprised, shocked and little sad to discover that Ganta didn't remember her. That didn't stop her from immediately declaring she would do anything for the other. Ganta asked to be killed and Shiro, while confused, was ready to happily oblige his request. This was the restart of their What are they bringing to Nuadoria?: Some candy. The Red man armor. |
Shiro, while normally perfectly happy, and running around like Deadman Wonderland is just her playground, holds a dark secret. Her title is the Retched Egg, although Ganta calls her, 'the Red-man' because of the red armor she wears and because she looks obviously like a male. He identity is completely hidden in the armor. She only becomes the Wretched Egg when the lullaby stops, and that's when all hell breaks loose. She kills without mercy, and is the whole reason Ganta ended up in Deadman Wonderland. She always place a shard into Ganta's chest which helped awaken his powers as a deadman. Both a blessing and a curse. |
